Taj-ul-Masajid is another popular destination to be explored in Bhopal. It is one of India’s largest mosque and it is also considered as the second biggest mosque in Asia. It is actually an exhibition of the Mughal architecture spread over an area of 24,000 sq. ft. Taj-ul-Masajid is completely built of red sandstone and it is located near the lake called Motia Talab. The mosque is open on all days but due to some religious practice non-Muslims are not allowed inside the premises on Fridays.
