And it takes a bit of a climb to reach foothills of the waterfall. The first attempt to reach the Kanchenjunga summit was made in 1905 by a party led by Aleister Crowley. This waterfall is situated at a sharp curve on the roadside which cannot be missed on the way to Pelling.
