Konark Sun Temple which is popularly famous as Black Pagoda. The temple was built in the 13th century and it is near to the coastline of Puri beach of Odisha. It is one of the famous temples of Odisha which is now converted into an Architecture UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The temple always gets bathed in the rising rays of the sun. Furthermore, the temple is a monumental representation of the sun god Surya’s Chariot. And this marvelous chariot is on 24 wheels which are designed with the traditional symbolic designs. Again, this chariot is led by a team of 6 horses.
