The main house is tastefully done with a lot of antique furniture, again, lots of books to read & a vast collection of DVDs for the children. The swimming pool was super. The food was a delight.
Accommodation on offer is Heliconia, a first-floor room with hill views; Silk Cotton, an independent cottage in a bamboo grove; and Frangipani, a ground-floor room ideal for single travelers.
5. The Wilds at Northernhay, Masinagudi
The resort is located in the middle of a coffee plantation. We had to park our car at a check post and board a jeep that took us to the resort. The resort is an oldish Victorian bungalow that consisted of four rooms in the main bungalow, two separate rooms, and a tree house.
Prominent tourist attractions of Masinagudi are Mudumalai National Park, Sigur Plateau, Mukurthi National Park, Mudumalai Elephant Camp, Wenlock Downs and many more places to explore within the vicinity.
6. Les Hibiscus, Pondicherry
It is a small property with a very friendly host. The rooms were big with simple furniture. The breakfast served was great. The house has been decorated with a blend of colonial and Indian furniture to give you a special aura of Pondicherry’s rich past.
